10 Gallon Aquarium Decorations?

I have a new 10 gallon tank that is now being cycled with biozyme and water tests are just about perfect. I accidentally chose a light gravel and it washes the color out of fish greatly, so going to have to get a black/blue mix. I ordered some plants off of ebay shown in the link below. I just need help on what to chose as hiding places / center pieces for the tank. I have been to several stores and nothing has looked good. Please any suggestions on a good looking tank. I would go live plants but so much more money to be dumped into them and just don’t have it right now. Thanks.

Can a cultured marble counter top support a full 20-30 gallon aquarium?

In my bedroom I am planning to get a fish tank. I’m planning on it being to be about 20-30 gallons. So we are talking about 166.8 to 250.2 pounds in terms of water. With a high estimate of 60 pounds of other things (filter, weight of tank, rocks, filter, decorations, etc.) In total, the aquarium will be around 226.8 to 310.2 pounds. I was originally planning to set it on my counter top, which is cultured marble. The fact of the matter is that cultured marble can bend or warp with excessive weight. I’m not knowledgeable enough about cultured marble but I don’t want to set the aquarium up until I have a good enough idea that it will be ok to set it up there.

My Penn-Plax action aquarium decoration says I need to connect it to an air source. What does this mean?

I bought it at Wal-mart and the skeleton is supposed to move up and down, but it needs to be connected to an independent air source. I have a 5 gal. hexagon shaped fish tank that I just put together and am not familiar w/ this. It came w/ a filter, but I don’t see a place to connect it to this.

How do I make my own aquarium decorations? Are there paints that are "fish safe"?

I want to make a little sign post to put in my tank with a caption on it. I don’t think I can find the one I want in any store, so I would like to make it myself. Can anyone help with with how to make fish tank decorations. Where can I get "fish safe" supplies like paint. Or can I order premade "sticker" type letters to put the caption on. And if i can’t do it myself, is there somewhere i can order an inexpensive custom decoration? Any Ideas?

What should I sell my Aquarium for?

I have a 90 gal. acrylic fish tank. Included will be the rocks, filter, bubble bar, a 3 sm. aquarium decorations, heater, lights and hood, tank vaccum and tank scrapper. Also comes with the stand (homemade black tongue and groove), and 3 large fish : 2 chillidad and 1 chinese sucker. The filter is an Emperor Bio-wheel and the lights cost us around +. All the leftover fish food and acrylic glass cleaner can go too. The tank has a couple scratches but you can hardly tell if you keep it clean. How much should I charge for it all?

Need ideas for decorations in a black and white fish aquarium?

I’m looking for any neat do it yourself fish tank decorations. I’m also thinking about overturning some clay pots to put as decorations in my fish tank. Does anyone know where or how I can get a black clay pot that wouldn’t be harmful to fish. I’d like to do black/white decos in my fish tank but have no ideas on what else would be neat in there besides black sand or gravel mixed with white gravel.
