Crystal decorations for my aquarium?
Okay so snails are breeding like mad in my aquarium.
I heard that copper will definitely kill them , but I don’t know about my bettas.
Will my bettas die? I’ll be making copper sulfate crystals. If they have it
at the pet shop, I’ll buy those if it’s safe for my fishes.
All I want is to make the snail leave. Anyway, the crystals would lighten up my tank
a bit.
Okay so after hearing those comments saying copper isn’t really necessary, is there any other method I can use to get rid of the snails other than the lettuce method that is really popular?
By the way, do bettas eat snails?

Starting a Freshwater Aquarium… fish, plants, decorations, gravel…?! Help!?
Alright so my friends and I were thinking about starting a new FRESHWATER aquarium. We have a tank with a filter… I can’t remember if it’s 5 or 10 gallons…. pretty sure its 5… anywho. We want fish! lots! Well, not lots but more than 3. And we were hoping for something else like a snail or a frog or even a water snake. So Im wondering what type of fish would be good. (and other creatures) And now i need good deco ideas! Gravel is a given, what else?

Alright lets just say i get a 20 gallon. Now what.
PS NO GOLDFISH or bettas!
